“We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our pupils, to broaden their horizons and raise aspirations. Our ambition is for all our schools to engage and inspire pupils through a varied, impactful and sustainable enrichment programme. A programme which is embedded within and complements curriculum delivery, offering real opportunities for the development of our pupils’ social, emotional and life competencies.”

At Cliff Park Infant we recognise the value of educational visits and visitors in providing children with a richer and broader educational experience.
We aim to include enrichment opportunities on a regular basis, either in the form of a visiting group such as a theatre company or a visit to a place of interest. Examples include a visit from West End in Schools Dance, author visits, local community representatives, Dance and Performing Arts, Living Eggs and Norfolk Road Safety Officers.
We value opportunities for learning that can take place offsite. Examples of these include a visit to Norwich Castle, Time and Tide Museum, Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve, Africa Alive, Wroxham Barns Farm and the use of the local library. These support a wide variety of skill development.
Over the school year, after-school and lunchtime clubs can include football, nature/gardening, dance, gymnastics, choir, and many more. Please see below for more information.
Please collect information and a form from the school office if your child wishes to attend either of these.
Each club will have a limited number of places and if there is a high demand we will have a waiting list for next term’s clubs.
Please note that payment will be required via ParentMail accounts. Parents will have to collect children from the school reception. You will be informed if your child has been given a place or is on the waiting list.
A Breakfast Club is held every morning between 8.00 – 8.55am. The children are able to select from a healthy breakfast menu and enjoy a range of activities. These sessions are available to all pupils, but places are limited, so please book your child’s sessions each term. The cost of each session is £2.50 per child. Application forms are available at the school office, or from Karen Denniss or Marie Dawson.
An After-School Club is open every afternoon apart from Fridays, straight after school, and finishes at 4.30pm. The children can spend their time doing indoor and outdoor activities, weather permitting. These sessions are booked and paid for in advance as places are limited. In order to book your child a place, please contact Mrs Pam Jones at the Junior School on 01493 661523 after 3.15pm. Each session costs £3.00 per child.
There are currently opportunities for children to get involved in sport out of school hours. Here are the sports clubs taking place at the moment:
|Monday||Football Club – Premier Sport|
|Tuesday||Street Dance – Premier Sport|
|Thursday||Gymnastics/Multi Sports Club – Premier Sport|

“Welcome back!” to all of our students and the whole Cliff Park family! We are learning about ‘letting go’ this week – to release our worries, and take our negative thoughts and assumptions and ‘Let It Go!’
We had a wonderful surprise last week; on Thursday 25th February, Tesco Community Champion Officers Danielle Spink and Julie Goodson delivered a big box of children’s books to us as an incredibly kind donation from the Great Yarmouth Tesco Extra supermarket. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks for this fantastic addition of resources.
Next week is National Storytelling Week across the country, and despite our strange circumstances, we would love our school community to share some stories with each other! It would be wonderful if at some point next week, you and your children could take a picture of yourselves sharing a story. This could be virtually with […]
