We want to do our best for all children in our community, and at Ormiston Cliff Park Infant Academy we firmly believe that regular attendance at school is vital for children as it promotes good learning, positive attitudes and maintains continuity in their education and friendships.
Home and school must work together to ensure that children feel safe and secure, and know the routines clearly.
Please note that it is the policy of Ormiston Acadmies Trust to discourage leave of absence during term time and holiday requests are not normally authorised.
We are committed to giving your child the best opportunities that we can. We do this most effectively when working with you.
Please feel free to download a copy of our home/school agreement, from the Related documents section of this page.
Ofsted has launched Parent View, a 12-question online survey that gives parents an opportunity to give Ofsted their opinions on aspects of their child’s school at any time, and in addition to expressing views during an inspection. Click here to visit the Parent View website.
There are lots of opportunities at our academies and in the community for children to get involved in extra activities. However, we also know how difficult it is to make ends meet and that sometimes it’s hard to find the money for those extra things which make life richer for our children. The government makes additional payments to schools for those children who are disadvantaged because their parents have to manage on very low incomes.
To find out more see our Opportunities Fund page.

Added to the money Ormiston Cliff Park Junior Academy has raised, this brings the total across both schools […]
