The Story Cafés and Learning Cafés both offer parents the chance to come and work in school, alongside their children, in an informal atmosphere. This is an opportunity to enjoy books together and learn more about the skills of reading and storytelling. There is often the chance to get involved in craft as well as spending time with other parents.
We understand that there are commitments which mean you may not be able to attend, but we would welcome grandparents, child minders or other family members to come along and take part in your place. We really want you all to be able to take part so younger siblings are able to attend if necessary, but they will need to be supervised by yourselves as the session is a learning experience for the class.
To help you make arrangements to attend the sessions, please see our dates for this academic year: (to be updated once sessions are available again)
Reminders for each session will go out on ParentMail.
Dates will also appear on the website calendar. Where sessions have to change, we aim to give as much notice as possible.
